Our wood-fired hot tub uses a robust stainless steel wood burner to heat your water naturally — no electricity required. Simply load seasoned wood into the firebox, ignite, and let the heat circulate through the jacketed system around the tub. Water warms steadily and stays insulated thanks to high-quality fibreglass liner and a well-insulated outer build, giving you hours of soothing heat and relaxation without the need for power hookups.

Delivery & Setup

We deliver with a two-person team. Our formal service is kerbside delivery.
Where access allows, we’ll move the tub to your chosen location—but this depends on a clear, straightforward route.
We require a minimum access width of 1.2m and 2.2m in height (including gates, paths, and turns).
If we can get the tub to its final spot, we’ll set it up for you on-site.
If access is tight, uneven, or obstructed (steps, gravel, steep slopes, tight corners), we may need to leave the tub kerbside.

Most users find 15–30 minutes per session ideal for relaxation and recovery. This allows your body to fully absorb the warmth without overheating. You can enjoy multiple shorter sessions if desired — simply step out, cool down, hydrate and re-enter when comfortable. Always listen to your body and avoid prolonged soaking if you feel uncomfortable.

Yes—both can be used in low doses but because wood-fired tubs don’t have a pump or filter, we recommend the simplest, cleanest routine: drain and refill after each use. This gives you fresh water every soak and avoids chemical buildup.

If you choose to sanitize between back-to-back sessions:

Keep it light: target 1–3 ppm free chlorine or 3–5 ppm bromine.
Pre-dissolve in a bucket and stir the tub - never dose while anyone’s in the water.
Avoid tablets/floating feeders and don’t add chemicals near the heater inlets/returns.
Keep pH 7.2–7.8 and rinse before soaking to reduce contamination.

Note: High or poorly mixed doses can discolor acrylic and may shorten the life of metal components. For most owners, fresh-fill / fresh-drain is the easiest and lowest maintenance approach.

There’s no strict requirement for a specific base material, but when full the hot tub will weigh over a tonne, so the ground must be firm, level, and stable. Many customers use a concrete slab, a suitable decking, compacted scalpings with gravel or a reinforced patio area — the key is to ensure it won’t sink or shift under load.

Heating times vary with weather conditions, fire intensity and water temperature, however with a well-lit wood fire you can typically expect the water to reach comfortable soaking temperatures in around 1–1.5 hours in summer and 1.5–2 hours in winter. Lighting with dry kindling and wood will help it heat more efficiently

Yes — wood-fired hot tubs are fantastic in cold weather and offer a uniquely cosy experience with steam rising around you. Just be mindful that if you expect freezing temperatures after use, it’s best to drain the water entirely and leave the drain tap open to avoid ice forming in the pipes. Many customers enjoy winter sessions, as long as proper winter care is taken.
