Delivery (Assemble Yourself Option):

If you choose to assemble the sauna yourself, we’ll deliver it directly to your doorstep using a tail lift truck. Our team will carefully unload the sauna and use a pump truck to place it as close to your desired location as access allows.

Delivery & Professional Installation:

If you select our professional installation service, our expert team will handle everything from delivery to full assembly. We’ll bring the sauna directly to your property, position it in your chosen location and complete the full setup — so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your sauna from day one. All we need is a clear, level surface to build the sauna on. We strongly advise the use of a fully qualified electrician, to wire up the heater in order to be compliant with all Government Regulations.

Our 2-Year Warranty

At Polar Recovery, we stand behind the quality of every sauna cube we sell. That’s why we offer a 2-year guarantee on all sauna cubes when installed by a professional or an approved installer. If the buyer chooses to self-assemble the sauna the warranty period is limited to 1 year.

To ensure your sauna stays in perfect condition for years to come, please follow these important guidelines:

Protecting Your Warranty

If you're assembling the sauna yourself, make sure to apply a breathable wood oil or sauna-safe finish to both the inside and outside of the structure. This helps protect the wood and is required to activate your warranty.

Your sauna must be installed on a firm, level base to ensure smooth operation of doors and windows, and to prevent long-term structural issues.

Please inspect all parts upon delivery. If anything is missing or damaged, email us right away at Support@polar-recovery.com with clear photos and a short explanation — we’ll sort it for you.

What’s Covered (and What’s Not)

Your warranty includes:

  • Manufacturing or construction defects
  • Missing or faulty components
  • Support from our team — we’ll work with you or bring in specialists if needed

Exclusions:

  • Outdoor storage of flatpack kits.
  • Damage during transport (must be reported to the delivery company.)
  • Installation on uneven or unprepared foundations.
  • Damage caused by improper finishing or treatment.
  • Natural characteristics of wood (e.g. knots, small cracks, colour variations)
  • Accidental damage, vandalism, or extreme weather.
  • Glass damage or condensation.

What Voids the Warranty

  • Failing to inspect all components before assembly.
  • Installing broken parts that should’ve been reported.
  • Not providing proof of purchase or supplying incorrect details.

At Polar Recovery, your satisfaction is incredibly important to us. We’re proud to offer beautifully crafted saunas designed to elevate your wellness journey — and we want you to feel confident in your purchase.

That’s why we’ve created a clear and fair returns policy to support you if things don’t go as planned.

Before You Start Assembly

If you change your mind before assembling your sauna, no problem — we’ll happily accept a return within 14 days of delivery, as long as:

  • In its original, unopened packaging
  • 15% restocking fee applies
  • Return shipping is arranged and covered by the customer

Once Assembly Has Begun

Please note: once you start assembling your sauna, we consider the product accepted and in use. At that point, returns and refunds are no longer available. This is because the product can no longer be re-sold in its original condition.

What If Something Arrives Damaged?

If your sauna cube arrives with any damage or defects, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at

How to Return Your Sauna (Pre-Assembly Only)

  1. Email us with your order number and return request
  2. Use the original packaging to prevent damage in transit
  3. We’ll provide the return address — we recommend using a tracked courier
  4. Once received and inspected, we’ll issue your refund (minus the restocking fee) within 7–10 business days.

Our Policy & Your Consumer Rights

This policy is fully aligned with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. While you're entitled to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, that right no longer applies once assembly has begun and the product is no longer in resalable condition.

What maintenance is required after I assemble my sauna?

To keep your sauna looking great and lasting for years, a bit of post-assembly care is essential.

Here’s what we recommend:

  1. Treat the wood (inside and out) as soon as possible after assembly.
  • This helps protect the timber from moisture and heat damage.
  • It’s also required to validate your warranty.

2. Should you treat the benches too?

  • That’s up to you, but we highly recommend it for long-term durability and easy cleaning.

3. What should you use?

  • We recommend a breathable, oil-based treatment like Tikkurila Supi Sauna Finish – it’s made specifically for saunas.
  • If you're having trouble finding Tikkurila in the UK, is another great alternative.
How long will it take to assemble my sauna cube?

If you’re handy with tools and have someone to lend a hand, you can build your sauna in just a day. Most people prefer to split it over two — getting the outer structure up on day one, then fitting the bench and electrics on day two for a smooth, stress-free setup.

To stay compliant with UK safety regulations, we strongly recommend using a qualified electrician to wire in the heater once the sauna is assembled.
Do I need a 3 phase supply?

No, this sauna is engineered exclusively for indoor use. The wood isn’t treated for outdoor exposure, and the electrical components—including the power board—aren’t waterproof. For your safety, please install and use the sauna indoors only.
Why is there no insulation in this sauna?

The simple answer is — it’s not needed.

This sauna cube is built using high-quality thermowood, which naturally has excellent insulating properties. Thermowood is heat-treated to reduce moisture content and increase thermal efficiency, helping it retain heat extremely well without the need for additional insulation.

Because this is a compact, well-sealed design, the heat is distributed efficiently and doesn’t have far to travel. The structure has been specifically engineered to minimise heat loss, maintain consistent temperatures, and create a fast, effective warm-up time — even in colder outdoor conditions.

So while traditional home builds may require added insulation, our sauna's material choice and design eliminate the need for it, without compromising performance or energy efficiency.
Where Do You Ship From?

Can the sauna be painted a different colour?

Yes, you can paint your sauna any colour you like — as long as you use a breathable wood treatment.

Breathable paints or wood finishes allow moisture to escape from the timber while still protecting it from the elements. This is especially important for a sauna, where the wood naturally expands and contracts with heat and humidity. Using a non-breathable paint (like standard exterior paint) can trap moisture inside the wood, which may lead to warping, cracking, or mould over time.
What base do I need?

To ensure optimal performance and safety, it’s essential to install your Polar Recovery Sauna Cube on a solid, level foundation.

The structure itself weighs approximately 450kg, with a recommended allowance of an additional 400kg for users — so your base must comfortably support 950kg in total. Suitable materials include concrete, paving slabs, tiles, patio decking, or reinforced gravel — as long as the surface is flat, stable, and weather-resistant.

Avoid sloped ground or areas prone to standing water, as uneven bases can affect both function and structural integrity over time.
